Daily Journal 3/5/26

Today’s focus is going to be on FALLING ANGELS in the morning. Then switching over to Vortex and Lifetimer shipments in the afternoon. Drinks with a friend tonight. Plus I have to get the catering order for tomorrow’s DEAD FORMAT shoot put together. So will keep this short.

Finished final revisions on “Forty Miles West of Sidewinder, Right Next Door To Hell” yesterday and turned it in. I also sent the story to Chris, who wanted to read it. Chris isn’t one to bullshit me, so when he said it’s one of the best things I’ve ever written, I know that I can believe that. Going to send it to Urbancik today and see what he thinks.

Mary and I recorded a new episode of KEENEVERSATIONS yesterday, as well. As a goof, I attached a microphone to Dave’s cremation urn (Dave requested his ashes be split between Deena, me and Mary, and sprinkled in a certain location). I don’t know if that was the reason why, but yesterday’s episode truly felt and sounded like the classic era of THE HORROR SHOW WITH BRIAN KEENE. Very satisfied with this one. Details here.
