Spent the first part of this week focused on FALLING ANGELS and commissioned LOST LEVEL stories, but allowed myself to get distracted yesterday by experimenting with layouts for the new zine I announced a few weeks ago, and then when I looked up from my desk, three quarters of the day was gone. Plus, we watched the Al Pacino version of Scarface last night, because — shockingly — Mary had never seen it, so there went the evening. And today, my youngest turns 18, so no work today other than a few hours this morning while the rest of the world wakes up. And Creature Feature Weekend in Gettysburg tomorrow.

So, basically, I’m starting next week behind on stuff.

Speaking of conventions

Save the date.

And speaking of AuthorCon, I love this picture of myself, Ronald Malfi, and Todd Keisling that was taken last month because it captures a real moment that wasn’t posed or planned for social media.

And also it reminds me how much weight I put back on over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Got to redouble my efforts to take that back off.
