Lot of progress made on FALLING ANGELS yesterday, although said progress was not without trepidation. I love these characters — Frankie, the Exit, Teddy, LeHorn, and Tony (particularly Tony, whom Mary has correctly identified as my fictional ‘Mary Sue’) — and I know what’s about to start happening to them over the course of the next two novels after this one. The final novels. And I don’t want to do it to them. But I have to.

Interesting new research article dropped yesterday regarding the social media usage of Americans in 2025. You may remember we discussed here how overall social media usage among adults and teenagers is down in all nations and countries, except for America, where usage has actually risen. Well, now we have a clear picture of what’s being used the most.

Growing shares of U.S. adults say they are using Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Reddit, but YouTube still rises to the top.

A reminder that the kickoff event for Marcos Repolle’s Cherry Lane is this Friday night. The location has moved (see flyer above). I’ll be on hand, as will Mary and filmmaker Mike Lombardo. If you attend, please do say “Hi”.
