3/24/26
Of Keene Interest, Vol. 2, No. 1 is ready to begin shipping. Ten pages, double-sided and stapled, with several essays and articles, a 2026 tour schedule, a short story, and a crossword puzzle.
The zine is already a money-losing venture, before it is even in anyone’s hands.
Cost to print was $1,044.00.
Cost for the manila shipping envelopes was $33.99.
Postage for each envelope is $1.90.
So, yeah. I don’t see this becoming a monthly thing. But hopefully we can do an issue at least twice a year.
(I should also note that addresses were already printed, so if you are signing up today, your subscription won’t start until the second issue).

An update for those of you coming to the signing in Ashland, MA on April 11th. S.A. Cosby had to cancel, but Joe Hill has been added.

Knocked out another commissioned LOST LEVEL story yesterday, and then in the afternoon I worked on me and Chris’s second scret project — not OPERATION LITTLE GOLDEN BOOK, but the adjacent project related to that, for which I can’t remember the codename I gave it. I also picked up the printed copies of the zine, and conferred with Missy, my favorite postmaster, on what the easiest and cheapest way to mail these things would be.
