It’s a rainy and foggy morning here along the Susquehanna River in central Pennsylvania, but a comfortable 60-ish degrees, so good enough to do my morning’s yoga and meditation outside on the dock rather than upstairs in my office. Only problem with that is the air smelled strongly of earthworms — that distinct odor I forever popularized in EARTHWORM GODS. I’ve lost count of how many readers have told me over the years that they think of that now after every thunderstorm. Well, if it’s any consolation, I do, too.

The weather is supposed to get bad this afternoon, with high, damaging winds and tornadoes. But I have my weekly meet-up at Comix Connection today (something I wasn’t able to do much of the last 4 weeks), so hopefully it holds off until after that. And if it doesn’t? Well, author Wile E. Young faced down a tornado and lived last week, and he’s a kid, so I reckon I can do the same today.

Yesterday was spent working on a commissioned LOST LEVEL story. Today (when not buying comic books or dodging tornadoes) will be spent doing the same, as well as recording a new episode of SECRET HISTORIES for Patreon.

For the rest of the week, I’ll split the days between FALLING ANGELS in the morning and commissioned LOST LEVEL stories in the afternoons (and record an episode of KEENEVERSATIONS at some point on Wednesday). It will be a short work week, due to signing at Creature Feature Weekend in Gettysburg this coming Friday through Sunday.

Speaking of KEENEVERSATIONS, I heard from Phoebe yesterday, who was delighted about Dave’s return to the airwaves, which in turn, delighted me.

Okay, off to work. As always, I’m not on social media much. See you here or on Patreon later. If you post a comment here or there, I’ll see it.
