I’m still in the middle of moving (as previously noted), so here’s a picture from earlier this week of the Raven Banner booth at Cannes. You’ll notice the Dark Hollow movie poster to the left.

So, Ghoul has been out on DVD for a few months now. You can buy it here, catch a rerun on Chiller, or rent it via Redbox, etc. Some of you liked it. Some of you didn’t. I’m cool with both camps (except for the element of the ‘Didn’t Like It’ crowd who seem to think I personally made the movie and berate me about it on Facebook and Twitter. A note to those folks: I didn’t make the movie. I just wrote the book — which is currently available in paperback, Kindle, and Nook.)
Anyway, now Dark Hollow is gearing up for production (which will hopefully start soon). If one of your complaints about Ghoul was that it diverged from the book, then I hope you’ve ‘Liked’ the Dark Hollow Facebook page. If so, then you’ve 
probably seen by now that Raven Banner and director Paul Campion are staying true to the novel — Satyr penis, and all.
You’ve probably also seen how interactive they are, asking fans to chime in on casting suggestions, etc. And all the cool freebies they’ve been offering, like a high-resolution download of the movie poster.

A lot of readers have been asking about my recurring character Levi Stoltzfus lately. New readers want to know how many books he appears in. Old readers want to know what’s next for him. So, I thought I’d take a moment to answer those questions.
The correct reading order for Levi’s adventures are Dark Hollow (which serves as a prequel), Ghost Walk, A Gathering of Crows, and Is There A Demon In You (which contains the novella The Witching Tree).
Levi also appears in the short story “House Call” (currently out-of-print), and an alternate reality 
version of him guest stars in Clickers vs. Zombies.
On deck are two more novellas, and two more novels. Readers of Is There A Demon In You know that Levi has gotten himself into a bad situation, the ramifications of which will be addressed in those final four books, as will his mysterious past, his relationship with his father, the reason he was ostracized from his community, and the identity of the girl in the cornfield. I don’t have titles for any of these yet, except for the final novel, which will be titled Bad Ground.

1. Deadite Press tells me that digital editions of Dark Hollow, Entombed, An Occurrence In Crazy Bear Valley, Ghost Walk, and Clickers vs. Zombies will be available “in time for Christmas”. All of them are currently available in paperback. For more information, click here.
2. The new Deadite editions of Earthworm Gods (previously published as The Conqueror Worms) and Earthworm Gods: Selected Scenes From the End of the World are off to the printer. Look for the paperbacks to go on sale in the next week or two.
