As noted earlier in the week, Deluge has been delayed. To hold you over until its return next week, I thought I’d post a random page from the first draft of the first issue of The Last Zombie (coming Summer 2010 to a comic store near you). To avoid plot spoilers, this is offered without context or explanation. It’s a tease and nothing more.

4 – Ramirez and Ian in the back of the Humvee.
RAMIREZ: “His name’s not really Planters.”
IAN: “Then why do you call him that?”
RAMIREZ: “Because he’s fucking nuts.”
5 – Warner in the front of the Humvee, gripping the wheel and talking into his helmet mic.
WARNER: “Everybody hang on!”
