I'm actually not surprised. Most Books are always over looked by main stream society. Most people turn on a T.V. or watch a movie... I spend a great deal of time in the schools with Middle and High School Students and I would say that more than half have never really read a full novel. They may read parts, or rent the movie but rarely do they read.. and read for pleasure?? rare! If more people read maybe our authors would make more!! I'm thankful that they write anyway!! Thank You!!

I would find it highly amusing if Brian did a Zombie novel, but along the lines of Twilight (ie - forbidden high school romance) - make it serious but also add some in-jokes satirizing the Twilight-style genre. Can you imagine that? An outsider, misunderstood zombie dude moves into town, and the cute misunderstood girl next door falls for him....wow....I can already see the broadway musical in my head....give the guy a black-sheep brother/nemesis who wants to woo the girl away (so he can eat her) and give the girl an artistic/misunderstood/gay/warlock best friend - and you've got yourself a hit!!!!!

You will always be the richest man in the world. you have a beutiful family and the greatest job on the planet. You get to live out your dreams everyday on paper, while making a living. I am in no way jealous, if anyone deserves to have it made, its you.

ps. If you do ever bust out some pussy ass sellout vampire novel, just dont forget about us

Its truely saddening to see how mid-list authors are subjected to the stresses of the writing life. Especially after how much joy is givin from their creativeness. Compared to hollywood writers, you guys get the shaft....big time.

What, you mean you guys don't go swimming in your piles and piles of royalty monies ala Scrooge McDuck? But that's the whole reason I wanted to write!
...
Well crap. I guess it's back to my gypsy dentistry practice, then.
