The news outlets today are talking about yesterday’s Michael Cohen testimony, the tensions between Pakistan and India, and Marvel’s new partnership with Serial Box. As reported by Deadline and The Verge and elsewhere (I’m not going to link to all of them) Serial Box, the premium digital-book platform (for whom I was showrunner and writer for SILVERWOOD: THE DOOR and writer for EXQUISITE CORPSE), is partnering with Marvel Entertainment to create new original stories for Black Panther, Thor, Black Widow, and Jessica Jones that will be produced by TV-style writers’ rooms, serialized in both written and audio form, and released weekly as episodes that fit the average American commute.
I am one of the writers on THOR, along with Yoon Ha Lee, Jay Edidin, and Aaron Stewart, who horror fans will know as the co-writer of Mandy. The series is based on an idea by Aaron. Alex de Campi is the showrunner.
The serial will start this summer.
That’s pretty much all I can say, but I did give Bleeding Cool reporter Jude Terror and e-X-clusive quote, which you can read by clicking here.
*and no, Thor will not, in fact, fight zombies. He’ll be too busy fighting other horrors.
