On Saturday, I went over to the Reel Splatter Studios to record a voice-over for Mike Lombardo’s new Lovecraftian horror film, THE STALL, in which I play a disc jockey. (If you’ve yet to sample Mike’s work, I highly recommend SUBURBAN HOLOCAUST, in which I also appear).
I got to the recording session early, and had the opportunity to watch while Brooklyn hip-hop artists Papa Sim and Duss Smitto (both of whom are also in the movie) recorded some audio, as well. We all hung out for a while, and then after Papa and Duss headed back to NYC, Mike and I discussed Drunken Tentacle stuff.
Speaking of which, we’ve hit some snags with FAST ZOMBIES SUCK. We’re discussing the feasibility of re-shooting a few scenes, or perhaps shooting one additional scene. Nothing will be decided until the next group meeting, and I don’t foresee that taking place until after the holidays. What this means for you is that the movie won’t be out on DVD in January as previously speculated. But it will be out sometime next year.

You playing a DJ? I dunno, Rage.
