MUSINGS (short story for Cemetery Dance Four Killers anthology)
THE LOST LEVEL (Lost world-styled novel for Apex Book Company)
HOLE IN THE WORLD (Labyrinth-related novel for Camelot Books)
APOCRYPHA (book for former newsletter subscribers)
WITH TEETH (Vampire novel for Cemetery Dance)
SUBURBAN GOTHIC (Sequel to Urban Gothic, for Deadite Press)

With teeth is definitely the one book ive been patiently waiting on, over any author
Who sets the word length? Is it contractual or just a measurement for how long you want that particular story to play out?
Keith: Sometimes the publisher. Sometimes the author. And sometimes the story itself. Most of my novels range from 65,000 to 85,000 words. (City of the Dead was a little longer, coming it at 95,000. And if The Last Zombie were written in prose form rather than comics, it would be about 500,000 words).
I can’t wait for the sequel to “Urban Gothic”!!! Matter of fact, looking forward to all of these. Going to be buying three copies of the paperback of “Clickers V.S. Zombies” next week! Mr. Keene your the man!
Cool, looking forward to reading all of these.
I love those little word count graphics!
How many typed words equals one page in a printed book?
500,000 word zombie novel……….It would be like I died and went to heaven
Ah! I’ve been wondering about Apocrypha, thanks!
Awesome to see those books still coming along. I’m most excited about Hole in the World and Suburban Gothic.
How’s “The Seven” doing? Other than it I’m particularly looking forward to Suburban Gothic…
Is Hole in the world the first book in the Labyrinth series, or is just related to it?
What’s that counting thing? I need one b/c I’m writing a short article for a medical magazine.
I don’t have any of that equipment. Just Microsoft Office. But they don’t seem to have anything that counts my words.
Haven’t read most of your books since The Last Zombie started up but i am looking forward to With Teeth. Thanks for the update!
