From best-selling authors J.F. Gonzalez and Brian Keene comes the wildest, pulpiest, most over-the-top installment in the Clickers series yet – a crossover with Keene’s THE RISING!
In the aftermath of a devastating tsunami and a series of undersea earthquakes, hordes of Clickers swarm onto the California coastline, slaughtering everything in their path. As the attacks spread to other parts of the world, humanity fights back, unaware that a second foe is about to emerge – Ob, the leader of a supernatural race of beings known as the Siqqusim, who have the ability to possess and reanimate the dead.
Now, Earth faces an invasion from not one, but two enemies – the mindless and hungry Clickers, and the evil and equally ravenous zombies. Both groups have only one goal in mind – the total extermination of the human race. But what happens when these two forces meet… No matter who wins, mankind loses!

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!
Hi, Mr. Keene,
I just found your blog and have to say I am enjoying it. Had I a bit more in the ol’ piggy bank I would head over to one of the Internet bookstores and order one of your novels, but times are tough and I’m short of cash right now. Rest assured, however, that you have yourself an interested reader even if I’m hiding for now behind a generic screen name.
One thing I must ask though: do you name a lot of your books after Bruce Springsteen songs? I see that this one is called THE RISING and that there are two others called THE TIES THAT BIND and DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN. I also gather that you’re from New Jersey (correct me if I’m wrong?). I’m a Bruce fan myself (I’m guessing you are too) and am now wondering if the Boss himself might get a kick out of the influence his music has had all the way to the book world. You should send him a copy; who knows, maybe he’d send back a review.
Ties and Darkness were intentional. The Rising was actually released in hardcover before the album. But yes, I’m a big fan (having seen him 7 times live now).
