SINISTER (and other movie news)

MV5BMjI5MTg1Njg0Ml5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNzg2Mjc4Nw@@._V1._SY317_Sinister comes out this weekend. I encourage all of you to go see it. Twice. Sinister is written by my friends C. Robert Cargill and Scott Derrickson, who are also behind the big-screen adaptation of my novel Darkness On The Edge Of Town. Please show them your support.

Updates on my movie stuff: Ghoul and Fast Zombies Suck will be out on DVD in January. Dark Hollow starts filming next Spring. Darkness On The Edge Of Town, Castaways, The Cage, and The Siqqusim Who Stole Christmas are all in development (the latter under the title Who Shot Santa?) I’m interested in optioning Terminal.

I know it was optioned for awhile, but would be interested in developing a script and film from it. The book is amazing and would love your input all through the process.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Well that’s damn encourging. Sinister worked well, despite sometimes overplaying it’s hand, but warts and all was a top tier horror flick.

And now those same creators are working on your most cinematic novel (well save for the PA thrillers that would cost GDP levels of money to film right)? fantastic.

DUTCH: Unfortunately, the rights to Terminal are tied up right now. It’s the only book of mine I don’t own the complete rights to. I’m hoping that will change in the next year or so. However, Kill Whitey (which is in the same vein) is up for grabs, should that interest you.

Hi Brian, Jonathan here from the Baltimore show. The Damned Highway was a readers delight on the level of Clickers. And I’ve got your Dark Hollow music whenever you’re ready.
