Some time ago, Glen Krisch challenged me to try self-publishing. So now I have.
ALONE, a short novella of quiet, supernatural horror, was previously only available as a signed limited edition. So that those copies will hold their value for collectors, I decided to re-release it only in digital, rather than in paperback. Currently, it’s on Kindle and Kobo for $2.99. Nook editions should be on sale within the next week.

Alright! Congratulations, Brian!
I will be releasing my first self published novel THE DREAD RIDE this fall as well, unless it gets picked up at Killercon. Wish me luck!
You, on the other hand, already made your first self publishing sale.
It was to me, just downloaded it.
Later,
Chuck

It’s 2.30 am here in the UK and I’ve just read Alone before getting my head down. Congrats on your self publication and Alone is a fantastic and well written read. Cheers Brian keep up the good work
There has been a drought of any new material from you for some time so as soon I saw this on my twitter feed I downloaded the novella to my kindle last night. Within the first few paragraphs I was getting a definite Twilight Zone vibe from the vibe and than slap bang in my face was a direct reference to the Twilight Zone. It definitely did not go in the direction I thought and my initial reaction was disappointment but as I continued to read I realized I was wanting something more obvious (one of the 13) so to head in this direction really was an inspired turn of events. As with all of your writing I spend half the time trying to find connections to other books and the labyrinth mythos. There does not seem to be anything overt but I have a feeling that one of the neighbors has made a previous appearance but not figured it out yet. This is why I need all of your books on kindle so such cross referencing is easier to do. Heck Brian we need to get a Wiki of your works up on the interweb soon.
Thank you sir for a short but very much needed dose of Keene crack. Now off to Amazon to post a review.
Looks like its already made it on the Amazon top 100 horror downloads at #20
