    That was a great read.

One question though. What were you trying to blow up, and was it supposed to be blown up?

Nate: Yesterday, we cut down a giant old cherry tree which was rotten in the middle and leaning toward the house. Today was all about stump removal…

A really lovely piece. I’m glad you guys are happy together. As a freelancer married to another freelancer myself, I’ve been able to experience firsthand the benefits of that kind of relationship. After all, nobody understands the pressures of impending deadlines and long hours more than somebody who has to go through it themselves. And more importantly, it’s great to have somebody to talk to that shares those common interests. If you’re married to a ‘mundane,’ there will always be areas of your life that they will never be a part of.

Very similar to how my dad and I once solved the problem of a woodchuck getting into our garden and ripping up everything we’d just planted. Me + Dad + Quarter-Stick of Dynamite +Woodchuck hole = Having Fun In the Country
