The first review of Ghoul (the movie) is in, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting. I doubt I’ll link to all of the reviews over the next few weeks, but the first one is important to me, just like that first book review all those years ago. For information on the movie, click here. Great review. I’ll be planted in front of my TV on premier night. Congrats, man.
Hi Brian! It was so great to finally see the movie. It came out even better than I imagined. Trevor had a blast and it was so much fun for me to see him even though he was getting beaten up by his dad! We’d love a copy of the book (signed??) whenever you have the chance. You know, they always say that “the book is better than the movie”…we’ll see! It may be a tough call
Please let me know you got this. Thanks and congratulations on a super movie. Can’t wait to see it again in April!
Regards,
Juliet Harker
What did you think of the review B.K?
Blocked, of course, by work web security.
Good review, I take it?
JULIET: Got it! Look for a package in the mail very soon. And thanks so much for the support. Was great seeing you guys again. Wish we’d had more time to hang out.
ALISTAIR: I thought it was fair and positive.
Like Jason, Blocked at work. But good to hear it was apparently good considering my earlier post on good books gone bad movie. Cheers!
That’s a great review. I spent some time with some of the Bloody Disgusting crew when I lived in LA and they are great people (hard to find in LA). I hope this is the first of many reviews of Brian Keene movies.
Wait till you get a review they don’t like. My friend is an actor, he used to be in the spotlight (sort of), and his favorite movie got terrible reviews. The movie he was in that he liked the most, they liked the least.
He still DOES movies. He’s just not on a ‘hit show’ right now.
Oh. Em. Gee.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
I got the Chiller Channel. Now I need all that information again. Like when it’s going to be on. I forget where you answered all that.
Good stuff, man! Looking forward to watching it again with the wife. Friday April 13th, there Vicki B.
I was watching the Chiller channel last night, and they’ve already made an announcement that it’s coming to Chiller.
I thought ‘Wow. They’re already telling people about it. That’s awesome. Even if they’re doing it for the advertising, it’s still awesome.
It even mentioned Brian’s name. The ad said ‘Brian Keene’s movie ‘Ghoul’ is coming to Chiller.’
I bet that makes you feel good. I wouldn’t know, but I like when people give me positive credit for my work. Even if sometimes they go overboard with the praise, b/c they think I’m wonderful for saving their life, I still like the acknowledgement.
Thanks dezm.
