CLICKERS VS. ZOMBIES – Pre-Order Now!

In the aftermath of a devastating tsunami, hordes of Clickers swarm onto the California coastline, slaughtering everything in their path. When the creatures begin attacking other parts of the world, humanity fights back, unaware that a second foe is about to emerge—Ob, Lord of a supernatural race of beings known as the Siqqusim, who have the ability to possess and reanimate the dead.

Now, Earth faces an invasion from not one, but two enemies—the mindless, hungry Clickers, and the evil, and equally ravenous zombies. Both groups have only one goal in mind—the total extermination of the human race. But what happens when these two forces meet…

CLICKERS VS. ZOMBIES – No matter who wins, mankind loses.

Saw your post on Twitter regarding the pre-order…..and promptly ordered it!!

Will always support you when I can regarding the limited hardcovers…and if I couldn’t afford it I would never complain about the price or limitation. After all, this is part of where writers like Brian earn their living!

I also got an email from Camelot Books saying they have a small allotment available for pre-order. I assume it’s safe to pre-order from either them or Dark Fuse?

I was wondering: will this book be available, not signed of course, at a lower price?
I hope that doesn’t sound offensive, but I don’t have $50 right now. I would have had it right after they gave me all the money from my former husband’s estate, which he had written into his Will to give me, but I spent that on health care costs, and it seems like everybody and their cousin wanted to snatch it away from me the minute I got it. And I immediately lost my health care when I got the money, b/c people in our government think health care bills can be paid with a cash amount of $2,500 in your account, which is plain ridiculous to think, but never mind that.

I can afford up to $30 for entertainment right now, but I have to get the second job I’m looking for to pay more towards my entertainment costs. I was just hoping I’d at least be able to read an unsigned copy of Clickers, so I can figure out what they even are.
Then, if I can get a signed copy when I have more money, I’ll do it.
I’ve never really been into getting signed copies of things, but I think you deserve your success, b/c at least you get medical information more right than more successful authors have done in the past, so I’m willing to suspend my thought and get a signed copy.

I really dislike when television and literature portray paramedics and EMS personnel like the author thinks we’re some kind of dunderheads. It’s a personal peeve of mine, b/c people respond to what they see on television and read in books, especially by best-selling authors, way more than the authors in question probably know.
I met an example of it when a guy beat his wife and then moved her to a different location, b/c he wanted us to think she “fell down the stairs” and not that she’d lost the baby b/c he beat her.
And it was obvious to US that he’d moved her, except he kept calling me a liar, b/c Stephen King wrote in Rose Madder that the husband moved his wife and, according to the book, the EMS personnel had no idea the husband moved her. Which is patently untrue. Because of how we deal with the scenes we arrive on, it would have been immediately obvious that he moved her. We would have discovered it during the focused examination and by asking questions about the given Method of Injury, which HE said was that “she fell downstairs and then went into labor.”
Even if that were the truth, we’ve been trained to check for the other possibility. But he kept calling me a liar, which did nothing to endear him to me. I didn’t even FEEL like helping him after he called me a liar.

In this guy’s case, it was actually good that Stephen King’s information was wrong and that the guy didn’t know it, b/c that’s how his sins found him out. But I have a pet peeve about being represented like I don’t have a clue as to how to do my job, b/c it makes my work even harder than it already is.

For that reason, I was impressed when I read the first two pages of ‘Terminal.’ I was so stunned that you said Stage 4 cancer, b/c no other author even notices details like that. They give general information about it but not usually details like saying Stage 4 cancer AND knowing what it means to have it.
I felt happy that someone finally got what we do more right than wrong. It’s why I like Robin Cook so much, but he’s a Physician and Surgeon. He teaches me things, which I REALLY like. OTOH I don’t expect someone who’s not a doctor to have a doctor’s knowledge.

I’m sorry if this post was too long. I’m doing really lousy at writing short posts, which I made as a New Year’s Resolution.
I’ll never be accused of being a quiet person anyway. Not once I get to talking. : )

I feel silly for not noticing it, especially after I stopped taking the cold medicine four hours ago, but I didn’t.
    I do now.

I still need to finish Dagon Rising. When I discovered Brian Keene, I read all of his work in a row but have held on to this one but I think I will read it tonight. I will have to wait until Clickers Vs. Zombies is released on Kindle for the text-to-speech feature, but the book sounds fantastic. This is what I get for reading everything by one of my favorite authors without rationing it all out haha. Still, something to look forward to in the next year along with Bentley Little’s new one, King’s Dark Tower 4.5, and a lot more hopefully.
Anyway, sorry about the length of the post. I’ll try to keep ‘em a bit shorter in the future.

Dave: Used to be, customers were charged when the book shipped. However, it’s been a while since I actually verified that, and it could have changed. Maybe someone else can answer.

    Hi Dave and Brian:

Here at Camelot we don’t charge for pre-orders until the book is actually in hand. There are a few exceptions, but those are far and few between and will actually be noted as such on the books page.

But just to clairfy, we are not charging up front for Clickers vs Zombies :-)

Pre-orders through DarkFuse have to be paid up front unless you use layaway but I think you need a minimum of $100.00 worth of stuff for that. If you order through Camelot you can pre-order without paying up front. You also might be able to use layaway with Camelot and pay it off within five months (I don’t think they have a minimum balance like DarkFuse) so figure like 10 bucks a month if you go that route

I stand corrected. You can pre-order through Camelot without paying but there is a minimum of a $100 if you do layaway.

Jim: We do not have any minimum with our lay-away plan

Kevin: You don’t need to pre-pay with us

Let me know if you all have any questions for us and I’ll be happy to answer

I confused myself. I went to the website and clicked on layaway. It said a minimum of a $100 for retail sales but it also said your very flexible with working with people too. I’m using layaway through Camelot at the moment and I’m very satisfied with it so I’d recommend it to others.
