Sneak peeks at the covers for three forthcoming books: A Conspiracy of One and Alone (Thunderstorm/Maelstrom) and the new edition of Darkness On The Edge of Town (Deadite Press). The table of contents for A Conspiracy of One, along with an exclusive teaser excerpt, can be found here on The Keenedom.

They look great!!
Dang.. I wish I waited to buy the books… they look awesome..:)
AWESOME!!!
Damn Deadite is killing it lately with the covers of the reissues!!!!
Can’t wait till “Conspiracy of one” & “Alone” go up for preorder.
Hey Brian is there going to be an “Early bird” page in those books like you guys did for the first Maelstrom set? Call me a narcissist but I thought it was awesome to see my name in a Keene book. Hoping to work my way up to being “killed” in one of the books one day LOL
I like the Alone cover. I assume it’s a photograph? It’s looks very professional. Darkness of the Edge looks like the other Deadite Press covers bloody and gruesome. I guess we’ll never see Keene in a book store anymore. lol
Cover look sweet! When Darkness was first up for pre sale there was a chapbook that came with it. Will that also be re released? That’s something I have been looking for and have been unable to find.
Rob: I’m not sure. I bet Thunderstorm can answer that, though, via their forum.
Geoff: Yep, photo is by John Urbancik, actually. And believe it or not, some stores are indeed carrying the new Deadite titles.
Greg: The chapbook won’t be re-released, but my story that was in it will be reprinted at some point, as I’m sure Kelli’s will be, as well.
Thanks Brian I will keep an eye out for it.
Wow, I like those covers. Can’t wait for the next Maelstrom.
I manage the horror section at my local awesome bookstore, and have been waiting with bated breath to get your books back on my shelves. So far, your re-released books haven’t shown up with any of our distributors.
Do you know if there’s anything standing in the way of national distribution, and if so, do you know if or when that may change?
Andrew: Ingram and Baker & Taylor are carrying them. Who are you using for a distributor?
Brian, I think Greg might have been talking about The Field Guide, not the one that came with the first Malestrom set. I may be wrong though.
Ah, yes. The Field Guide to the Thirteen (if that’s what you meant, Greg) will never be reprinted. But Divorcing the Dead (if you meant that) will be, or at least, the two stories in it will be, at some point.
Hey Brian!
I am really digging the new Deadite Press covers, they’re nasty and bloody and ugly and PERFECT.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: you write faster than I can read. Not only that, but the books are good, too.
Best of luck with the Maelstrom series!
Best,
Nick
Niiiice! LOVE them.
Brian:
We’re Canadian, but we get a lot from Ingram. The titles weren’t showing up on BIPWeb the last time I checked, but I just looked again and there they are!
Good thing, too. Lately my horror shelves have been 50% Charlaine Harris and Laurel K. Hamilton.
Andrew: That’s excellent news, man. I really, REALLY appreciate the support. Next time I get up to Canada, we’ll have to set up a signing so I can pay you back.
Dude, I am all over that idea. Drop me an email if you’re ever coming to Winnipeg, and I’ll get you in touch with our events guy.
On second glance, most of the listings I’m getting from Ingram appear to be audio books. I’m really not sure why the new editions aren’t showing up for me, if Ingram’s got them, but I’m going to keep hunting.
