Of course I will be ordering but I need to ask: could Jack’s Magic Beans be considered a zombie book, even if one has to somewhat stretch the concept of zombies?
Reason I ask is because I am planning a “Zombie Week” next month and wanted to include The Rising but I was behind on news and an Amazon poke showed me it was a Leisure casualty. These “weeks” of mine are mainly to amuse me but if I can’t give out a new free copy or drive sales for the authors I read, it makes it a little less fun, if you know what I mean.
If Jack’s Magic Beans cannot be considered a zombie book even using generous definitions, I may just soon have a “Deadite Week” and have a nice, nasty block of extreme horror. God knows I’m due for one.
Oh, absolutely… in a 28 Days Later/Among Madmen sense. They are beserkers, but not dead.

Some might consider paying 16 dollars (that’s including shipping to The Netherlands) for a 100 page book a lot, but I think it’ll be well WELL worth it.

I have a question about The Rising on amazon. I already have a copy but a though just came to me. It’s temporarily out of stock, but although the ISBN is for the Leisure version if I add to cart, would I get the Deadite version in the future when it releases? (Wishful thinking.)
Also is trade paperback better quality than mass paperback?
