Copies of A Gathering of Crows and The Last Zombie #2 have shipped to all lifetime subscribers as of today. I apologize for the delay. Sadly, Leisure was unable to fulfill my order for copies of the book, and I had to get copies from an alternative source. About half of you will receive Clickers 3 with this shipment. The other half will receive it with next month’s shipment (which will also include The Last Zombie #3, Doom Patrol #16 and the DCU Halloween Special).
That brings us up to date, except for the book club edition of LeHorn’s Hollow. This was published by the Science Fiction Book Club through an arrangement with Leisure, and as such, you are qualified to receive it. Sadly, Leisure is still not fulfilling orders. I’ve been unable to get copies for myself, let alone for the lifetime subscribers. This seems to be a problem across the board for all Leisure authors.
Because of these ongoing shenanigans on Leisure’s part, I’ve arranged for an alternative. Lifetimers may choose to wait for a copy of LeHorn’s Hollow, or if they prefer, they can substitute a copy of one of the following: limited edition hardcover of The Girl on the Glider, limited edition hardcover of Four Rode Out, or the German hardcover edition of Kill Whitey.
In either case, please email Big Joe and myself at briankeene at live dot com and let us know which option you’d like to choose. If you elect to go with one of the substitute titles, please let us know which one you would prefer. We’d also like to take this time to verify everyone’s name, mailing address and signing preference, so if you could indicate those in your email, as well, we’d appreciate it.
Those who select a copy of The Girl on the Glider, Four Rode Out, or Kill Whitey, will receive their book with next month’s shipment. Those who decide to wait for a copy of LeHorn’s Hollow will be updated as I learn more. I do not have a tentative ship date for them at this time, and fully expect that I will most likely have to join the Science Fiction Book Club and buy copies myself if we are to get them.
As always, thanks for your support.

If you’re going to be joining a book club to get copies, I’d recommend BOMC2 over the Science Fiction Book Club. BOMC2 only charges $9.95 +tax per book (shipping included), and I believe they require you to buy fewer books before you can cancel your membership. Also, since they don’t do automatic shipments of books chosen by some random editor, it’s a better club to join on the off chance that you’d decide not to cancel the membership right away.
